About Me

I am a fully certified specialist dyslexia tutor with over 21 years of experience in education. I completed a postgraduate diploma in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia and Other Specific Learning Difficulties, which awarded me Specialist SpLD Tutor status in 2023 and I am working towards becoming a dyslexia assessor.

Currently I am a specialist study skills tutor to students in primary, secondary and higher education a very wide range of courses. It is a real pleasure to see students develop and achieve their goals at all levels.

My approach is calm, structured, and student‑centred. I aim to build confidence, strengthen core skills, and help each learner recognise their strengths while developing strategies that genuinely work for them.
